The Hall

Beyond the vestibule, the entrance hall led to all of the rooms of the house. It was the ideal place to greet guests with flair and a place to stop where you could sit and read or relax. Under Lord Mount Stephen’s coat of arms, the stained glass panels of the doors illustrate four of Shakespeare’s plays. The walls and ceiling, which have Cuban mahogany paneling, beautifully frame the marble and onyx fireplace.
