The Mount Stephen Club is one of the most remarkable buildings in Montreal. A monument, whose history is intimately linked to the commercial development of the metropolitan area and of Canada. Therefore, it’s an ideal place to hold corporate events or private working meetings. “There is an atmosphere at the Club Mount Stephen that is conducive to this kind of business meetings”, mentions Diane Roch, the Sales Manager at the Mount Stephen Club. “We receive dozens of requests every day. The business community from here and elsewhere reserves our rooms and lounges (and our rooftop terrace during the summer) for gatherings, annual meetings, association meetings, motivational or sales events or to welcome representatives from abroad. We have even had the occasion to organize a cocktail reception and a big dinner dance for a prestigious New York law firm,” notes Diane Roch. “Guests are always really captivated by this historic place.” Her great expertise lets her guide her clients through the organizational steps, in the same way as she can create a complete, customized, turnkey package for them. The possibilities are immense. Besides the spaces that it provides, the Mount Stephen Club also offers a range of business menus created by Jean-Benoît Courcoul, its executive chef. These menus can also be personalized, based on clients’ requests. “The Mount Stephen Club also benefits from a team of qualified collaborators and suppliers with respect to cutting-edge electronic equipment, music, decorating, lighting and photography. And all of this comes at more than reasonable costs” concludes Ms. Roch, who has been able to build up an impressive corporate and business client base in her 20 years in the business.

Conditions for corporate events
Price
The price indicated does not include taxes (5% and 8.5%) or service (15%). This price may be modified without notice.
Reservation policy
Our menus are guaranteed for a period of three (3) months from the date of selection.
Deposit and payment
A deposit of 10% of the value of the expected costs is required at the time of the reservation (minimum $1,000). A second deposit of 50% of the value of the expected costs is required three (3) months before the event. Deposit payment in cash, by cheque or by credit card. The balance must be paid before the date of the event.
Rental fees
Room or salon rental fees will be invoiced, if applicable, for any room or salon not included in the package.
Music
If a dance period is planned, you will be invoiced for fees of $59.17, plus taxes, for the license for the musicians’ services (Socan fees). If no dance period is planned, you will be invoiced for fees of $29.56, plus taxes. Additional fees may be required if special equipment must be installed.
Cancellation fees
You will be invoiced for cancellation fees according to the cancellation policy that will be sent to you.
Dress code
During the week, the wearing of a suit jacket is mandatory (an equivalent dress code also applies to women), except at the bar where the dress code is more relaxed and accepted. On Saturdays and Sundays, sports jackets and similar wear are the usual attire for men and women. Clothing in denim, whatever the colour, shorts, sports tops and running shoes or others are not accepted.
Cloakroom
Cloakroom services are offered for all events at the Club.
